B Day

Jefferson City Trip tomorrow!  We leave as soon as everyone arrives and we are taking the van.  Be sure to bring money for ice cream, anything you need for the trip, and cell phones to call parents on the way home.  We should be home around 4:30.

Thursday:  Awards assembly in the morning, packing and cleaning the room, dismiss at 11:00

A Day

No School Monday for Memorial Day!

Tuesday is presentations, end of the year math test, and carry in lunch in the room.

Wednesday is the Jefferson City Field Trip!  We will leave as soon as everyone gets here and be back around 4:30.  Bring your cell phones, stuff for the trip, drinks, snacks, and money for ice cream!

Thursday is the last day of school.  We are out at 11:00.  Short awards ceremony in the morning with academic and attendance awards.  We will then clean the room and go home for the summer.

AMENDMENTS TEST – FRIDAY – 1-27 – Be able to match the correct number with the correct amendment! 

Remember to leave your Pandora on ONE station, no liking, disliking, or changing stations.  You will have another opportunity to change stations after lunch!

Remember, no You Tube without permission.  You are allowed to watch the YouTube videos on Khan Academy that I am sharing with you!

Field day is tomorrow!  Make sure you bring everything today that we need.  No Reading Round Table!

Scotties Fun Spot is Thursday.  We will leave at 9:30 and be back by the end of the school day.  I will cover the $20 all day pass which does include your pizza and soda for lunch.  You will need money for extra drinks, snacks, go-carts, or extra games.  Please bring your cell phone!

  • Read 20 pages in your books.  These are your free read books we were using to blog.  If you finished your book already you may start on a new book.  We will have a book share on Wednesday and Friday where you discuss your books round table style and answer questions from other students or the teacher.
  •  If you are absent the day of the reading round table you will be required to write a short summary and three metacognitives that you will email to me.

How Can I Know God Exists?

Blog, answer the following questions and post them by THE END OF TODAY!:

1.  Tell about a time in your life when you questioned the existence of God?  What were the circumstances surrounding that doubt? 

2.  Read John 1:1-5.  What does this Scripture tell you about the existence of God and the existence of everything else? 

3.  What are a few of the reasons people doubt the existence of God according to Romans 1:18-25 and Psalm 19:1-6?
